The Underwater collection explores the colour and mystery of life beneath the ocean’s surface. Sea Turtle remains one of its most striking expressions.

Inspired by one of our most beloved marine creatures, this ink captures the depth and richness of submerged seagrass forests and shadowed reef passages.

Sea Turtle is our highest saturation green to date.

It lays down as a dense, cool verdant green with extraordinary dye load. In lighter strokes it holds a vivid botanical clarity. In broader applications it deepens into a rich, almost forested emerald tone.

Then the contrast appears.

On nearly all paper types, a dramatic red sheen rises along pooled edges and heavier strokes. The interaction between the cool green base and warm crimson sheen creates a dynamic tension that feels alive on the page. The sheen is bold, but integrated. Present without overwhelming the core colour.

For 2026, Sea Turtle retains its exact colour profile, now produced using our refined formulation and larger batch process:

• Zero sedimentation
• Smoother, clearer flow
• Greater consistency between bottles and batches

The increased dye clarity allows the green to appear cleaner and more luminous, while the sheen develops more predictably across different papers.
